ABOUT CARBINE SECURITY INSTALLATIONS

Carbine Security Installations was established in 2001 and has supplied and installed products in almost every continent throughout the world.

The unfortunate events of September 11, subsequent terrorist attacks and an increase in industrial espionage has led to a demand in both the Government and private sectors for products such as those produced by our business. In the USA these products are generically classified as Sensitive Compartmented Information Facilities, or SCIF’s. The most common type of SCIF is a room within a room with features that can vary widely depending on client’s requirements.

Our rooms are also designed to be rooms within rooms but the SmartVault can easily be modified for external use if required. Our rooms also meet stringent Australian Standards for both sound attenuation and security protection.

We manufacture, transport and instal 2 demountable core products which can be adapted to suit specific customer’s needs.

These are SpeakSafe Rooms  and SmartVaults .

Our unique panelised construction method provides for greater flexibility in meeting the dimensional needs of clients.

An essential part of our design philosophy was to produce these core products so that they can be assembled (or disassembled) by a two person team using basic hand tools to provide the facility within the shortest possible timeframe regardless of the location.

They are provided in complete knock down form to provide for the ever increasing number of Government and private sector organisations using leased premises.

Our rooms can be easily installed and later removed at the expiration of a lease and can cater for

• confidential meetings and
• high security storage, communications equipment or an IT room.

Gary Orford is the Manager of Carbine Security Installations.

Gary has had over 30 years experience in both the public and private sectors with many years spent in senior management positions. He has owned and operated his own businesses and has also worked overseas with the Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade.

He has had extensive experience with project management of major projects in the construction industry. He is recognised for his honesty, integrity, business ethics and commitment to customer service.

Gary is also strongly commited to regional development while incorporating innovative product development. With this in mind Carbine Security Installations is based in a major provincial city and supports local businesses.
